Bull Pen Workout at every practice

At about 50% to 60% effort with emphasis on mechanics:

a) balance point

b) fall and separate

c) land and release with elbow about at shoulders

 

 

1) Start warm-up from 40'-45' extending to 65' to 70'.

2) First series of 7-10 pitches are 4 seam fast balls.

3) Next series of 7-10 pitches are change-up pitches.

4) Next series of 7-10 pitches are breaking balls pitches

5) Next series of 7-10 pitches are 2 seam fast balls.

6) From the stretch, 5-7 quick pitches

7) Three rounds of 4 corner pitching

    a) high in and high out

    b) low in and low out

    c) low red zone
